I’m thinking of heading south to Palm Desert this weekend to check out the Thermal Desert Circuit horse show. My barn, Jan Pearce Training, is down there to campaign a strong string of horses and riders and I’m hoping to catch some action and some rays.

I headed over to the Nordstrom at Stanford Mall to build some outfits to suit the winter in the desert scene. Palm Desert is very much California’s equivalent for New England’s Florida so it’s all about prints and whites — some would say very Tory Burch.

This Vince Camuto “Geo Floral” print blouse is a great print option for the Palm Desert scene and the horse show crowd. And it went so perfectly with the white Hinge shawl collar blazer. I’ll just need to hem the cuffs a bit since I like to show my blouse’s sleeves under a coat or blazer.
